Microgrid BG15 Generator Generation Backup Resiliency Outage Energy Fuel Cell CHP Bluegen Emergency

IO has secured a distribution agreement with 2 fuel cell manufacturers to bring their product to the US. We will be engaging with Southern California Gas on a pilot install with Solid Power’s BlueGEN 1.5kW residential system to be placed in a home microgrid with IO batteries and IO controls. This pilot will mirror the findings that was concluded by Microsoft in their data center in Seattle, but on a residential installation.

For Homes

Whether in existing buildings or in new buildings, the BlueGEN is the ideal solution to supply a residential building with electricity. In-house generation makes you independent of rising electricity prices and at the same time reduces the load on the grids. And thanks to the uniquely high efficiency of BlueGEN fuel cell technology , you also reduce your CO 2 footprint.

The BlueGEN can be combined with almost any heating system and supports this with up to 200 liters of hot domestic water per day. In combination with solar thermal and heat pumps, the BlueGEN can also make a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of the entire energy system. The BlueGEN is ideal for larger single-family houses, apartment buildings, passive and low-energy houses, and all other forms of residential buildings with increased electricity requirements.

For Businesses

With the BlueGEN you produce your own electricity on site and can thus significantly reduce your company's energy costs. The highly efficient fuel cell technology enables environmentally friendly energy generation that underlines the sustainability of a company.

Due to the comparatively low heat emission, the BlueGEN can not only be operated all year round, but can also be used wherever there is only a low heat requirement. If additional heat is required, the BlueGEN can be combined with almost any heating system. This makes the BlueGEN ideal for small and medium-sized companies with a continuous base load power requirement, such as permanent lighting, cooling facilities or server rooms.
